You can insert up to 500 sheets of 20 lbs letter sized paper (or smaller), OR 250 sheets of legal paper at once into the feeder tray. Just shut the tray doors, press START and let the BOXIS Autoshred do the work, allowing you to get back to being productive (the machine takes 15-20 min to shred 500 documents). It only took five seconds of your time and you effectively were able to destroy 500 sheets of paper! If the documents are sensitiveparyoll data, legal documents, HR documents, checks, etc., all have to be treated with high levels of security both within and outside your company premises. You can lock the BOXIS Autoshred so that no one can open it until all the documents are destroyed. Simply press “LOCK”, enter a unique 4-digit PIN number, press “ENTER”. The feeder tray will remain locked until the shred job is complete. You can interrupt a secured shred job by pressing “UNLOCK” and re-entering your PIN number. (Includes master override key in the event a PIN number is forgotten.)
