Wow! I didn't realize people disliked this shredder so much until I decided to write a review about it. I will say it isn't worth the $90 it's listed for here. I bought mine at BJ's for $49 like another reviewer.

Several reviewers highlighed the fact that this shredder doesn't shred as many pages as it says it will. My experience with shredders is that no shredder really shreds as many pages at a time as it says it's going to. So, I never believe what the boxes say about how many pages they will shred at a time. I never do more than a few at a time. It does do okay with credit cards and my husband has done a few cd's. I tried to shred a cd, but it didn't work so well for me. That did disappoint me.

As I said, this shredder is okay. It's not great, but okay. Unfortunately in our society, a shredder is not an optional thing the way it used to be. Now, when a shredder breaks, you need to replace it. This shredder will do the job, but I think there are probably better choices out there or at least more economical shredders out there that work just as well as this one. -- Not great, but does the job...
