This is a very nice machine but for two problems
1. If you put 16 sheets in at the same time the
motor lugs down where sounds like it is going to
stop.
2. When first being used in the morning sounds
good but after a while it sounds like it needs
oiling.

Worth every penny. This was an upgrade from my cheapy shredder which just jammed too much. I really shred a lot and wanted a good one. I considered buying one of those industrial ones that run over a grand, but finally decided to try this one for a buck fifty. It works great. Takes lots of papers, hardly ever complains, and does a fine cross cut shredding job. As with all shredders in this price range, I don't think the slot is wide enough. I have no concerns for reliability (had it over 18 months now) and it's so easy to empty that my 5 year old does it. Defiantly a 5 star value in my opinion. -- Grrrrr!

I have had this shredder for two or three years now and have had no problems with it ever. I'm kind of surprised to be saying that but it is true. My old shredder would always get jammed. This one never has had a jam or any other problem. -- great
