I just recently purchased this brand of shredder oil a few days ago on Amazon.com. I received it yesterday and put it to work on the new shredder of mine. This oil is indeed made out of good ingredients -- as it is very light but effective. Oiling a shredder is never a fun task, and I still believe the sheets are better, less messy, but not worth the dollar amounts you put out over a period of time for just a few sheets. The oil in the bottle definitely lasts longer. -- Not Bad

This is a nice investment to make your shreader last longer. I have shredded over 3 full baskets of paper. Today was the first time I used the oil. I know I should have used this oil earlier and often since the manual suggest one should regularly use after bin is full or if capacity decreases, motor sounds different or sherdder stops running. It was not messy for me like some people might have said. You don't have to use a lot. It was used when the basket was full so that if you did use more than necessary it was collected on the cuttings and leaving the basket free from any oils. To me it did seem to be cutting like it was knew when I first received it back about a year ago. -- Make your shreader last

How do you review something so simple? Here goes:

It's liquid. Light yellow. Slippery. Contains NO iron filings or sand. :) -- As advertised - it's oil!!

but really it doesn't have to be that kind oil and food oil can do the same exact job ,,it's just the bottle you will need some a bottle with the same head so u dont make a mess -- it helps but
