Fellowes 32057 Powershred P-57Cs Shredder
The New innovative Fellowes P-57Cs with Patent-Pending Safe Sense Technology features an active sensor that stops shredding immediately when paper entry is touched. Designed for light duty shredding in the home or home office, the Fellowes Powershred P-57Cs reduces documents to 5/32" x 2" higher security confetti particles, and shreds up to 8 sheets per pass, 10-20 times per day, for a total daily capacity as high as 160 sheets. Equipped with a 9" wide paper entry, the P-57Cs easily accepts standard letter or legal size documents. The durable steel cutters also accept credit and staples. Electronic auto start/stop features ensures quick & easy automatic shredder operation. Shredder is open in front for disposal of non-shredder waste as well as allowing the user to see when 5-gallon wastebasket is full. The P-57Cs also has a pivoting head with a handle that makes waste removal quick and easy. Sheet capacity gauge helps prevent paper jams, while the reverse function easily removes paper jams.

User Reviews about Fellowes 32057 Powershred P-57Cs Shredder
Has the power I needed to handle small jobs like shredding old receipts, old documents, old checks and some credit cards. Haven't had any problems with it but I did buy some paper that sharpens and lubricates the shredder. The paper was also made by Fellowes and bought it at Staples but I'm sure they have it somewhere on Amazon. I've always been happy with the time it takes for me to get my order. Usually within 4 days. Very happy so far. -- Good enough for me!
Bought it on February 24th, 2010 for $57.89 with free shipping.
What can I say, it's a shredder. A bit noisy, so I try to shred when no one's around or I'll close my door. I don't think the SafeSense is necessary... Then again, human stupidity never fails to surprise me so I can understand why they implemented it.
Purchase was based on the high amount of positive reviews. Over the past 4 months, I've had it stall a couple times when I fed it 8 sheets of paper at a time. Since then, I've kinda babied it with a few sheets at a time. This is a "light duty" shredder, so it was perfect for me as I have gone almost paperless. -- Good Shredder
Swing-up top for emptying is quite convenient and probably the main attraction for me.
Everything seems to work as described. Does not get heavy use, and cannot, as of now, comment
on longevity.
Satisfied with purchase. -- Worked as anticipated without problems.
In the limited use to which I have put the shredder to date, it has worked fine, with no jamming. -- Satisfied So Far
